CLIMATE WALK

The Climate Walk is a combined research, education and media art project by the Wanderers of Changing Worlds, supported by a number of organizations and institutions including NGOs, universities, and media. It is about walking across Europe to understand regional experiences of Climate Change.

Starting by the end of May 2021 at the North Cape in Northern Norway, the Wanderers are going to make their way down south, through a variety of environments. Everybody is welcome to walk with them and contribute to the project. “The three pillars connect scientific theories and methods, activist and everyday action, national and international frameworks, as well as arts and sports leading to a more holistic understanding of changing climates,” the Wanderers say.

Katharina has been appointed a member of the Climate Walk’s advisory council, seeking to connect IPSD’s visions with the project’s goals, as well as supporting the Walk with cross-disciplinary expertise.
